Fitter Trainee
Job Description
- Assist experienced fitters in assembling and installing mechanical components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Learn to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments safely and effectively.
- Participate in training sessions to understand different types of machinery, equipment, and materials used in the fitting process.
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and find solutions to mechanical problems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to facilitate efficient workflow and prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist in conducting inspections and quality checks to ensure that finished products meet quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support the overall operation of the workshop or production facility.
