Legal Assistant Trainee
Job Description
- Assist in drafting legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research using various resources such as online databases, library materials, and court records.
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents in both electronic and physical formats.
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and administrative agencies.
- Assist with case management tasks, including scheduling appointments, court dates, and meetings.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties to gather information and relay messages.
- Provide administrative support such as answering phones, managing emails, and processing mail.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervising attorneys or paralegals.
