Receptionist
Job Description
- Greet clients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls promptly.
- Provide accurate information to callers and take detailed messages when necessary.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized at all times.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for conference rooms and appointments.
- Assist in coordinating meetings and events as needed.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Perform basic administrative tasks, including photocopying, filing, and data entry.
- Keep updated records of office expenses and costs.
- Assist other administrative staff with overflow work, including word processing, data entry, and internet research tasks.
- Handle inquiries and provide information to clients or visitors in person or via phone/email.
- Ensure the reception area is stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., stationery, refreshments).
- Follow company policies and procedures, including confidentiality protocols.
Skills
