Job Description :
- Food preparation: Preparing, cooking, and serving food, including special meals for clients
- Stock management: Monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and controlling food waste
- Menu planning: Understanding menu planning, portion sizes, and food cost
- Hygiene: Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene, wearing a clean uniform, and following company hygiene regulations
- Company procedures: Adhering to company procedures for temperature checks, food labeling and dating, and cleaning schedules
- Work area maintenance: Keeping the work area clean and organized, including countertops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration
- Safety and sanitation: Ensuring the kitchen and food areas are clean and safe, and following all safety and sanitation procedures
- Other duties: Assisting in food preparation and presentation, and overseeing subordinate personne
